Lyon County Commissioners will consider final action on the 2021 fiscal year budget during their weekly action session Thursday morning.
The commission will hold a public hearing before rendering a verdict on the budget which comes out to just over $31 million with a mill decrease of 4.1 mills. Commissioners will also receive a housing update from Ignite Emporia Director Rob Gilligan and Emporia Area Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Jeanine McKenna.
Lyon County Facilities Director Mark McKenna will also submit a request for the purchase of an AC unit for the bus barn. Two executive sessions are also planned.
The meeting begins at 9 am inside the Lyon County Courthouse.
