Pretrial hearings are coming next month for three men accused in a shooting incident earlier this year.
Edgar Gonzalez, Hector Velazquez and William Walters were the subjects of preliminary hearings Wednesday in Lyon County District Court. They will be back in court Sept. 18 in front of Judge Merlin Wheeler.
All three men were charged after a woman was shot at 1213 Beverly on June 12. She survived. A second woman was injured by a ricocheting bullet. A third person was listed as a victim of related crimes not related to the shooting.
After decisions Wednesday, an aggravated battery count has been dropped and an aggravated robbery count has been added. All three suspects are now facing single counts of aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery, attempted aggravated robbery, conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery, aggravated assault, aggravated battery and aggravated kidnapping.
