Lyon County added 24 new coronavirus cases over the weekend.
The numbers were reported Monday afternoon by Lyon County Public Health. The overall caseload is now at 820. The number of active cases went from 80 to 92 with 12 recovered patients noted for the weekend. The number of deaths remains at 14 with nine deaths awaiting final cause classification from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.
Public Health continues monitoring one cluster each for private industry and long-term care. It has now added an active cluster in the bars or restaurants category with five total cases, all of which are active. Private industry has five active cases and one death. Long-term care, meanwhile, has 37 active cases and seven deaths with another eight deaths pending cause of death notice from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.

*Chase County has announced seven new cases with 15 active cases. It also has one death pending death certificate information from KDHE.
*Coffey County has one new case, four active cases, 75 total cases and eight deaths
*Greenwood County has one active case and 24 total cases
*Morris County has five new cases with seven active.
*Osage County announced five new cases over the weekend with 10 active cases.
*Wabaunsee County has one new case with nine active.
