(ap) The preseason Associated Press Top 25 football rankings were released on Monday, and it includes teams from the Big Ten and Pac-12 that will not play this fall. Because of the uncertainty surrounding the coronavirus pandemic, those conferences — along with the Mid-American and Mountain West — have postponed football to the spring. They are still included in the poll.
Clemson is ranked number 1 followed by Ohio State, Alabama is ranked number 3, Georgia is ranked 4th and Oklahoma 5th.
LSU is ranked 6th, Penn State 7th, Florida 8th, Oregon 9th and Notre Dame 10th.
Out of the Big-12 Texas is ranked 14th, Oklahoma State 15th, and Iowa State is ranked 23rd.
