Lyon County’s death toll is now at 17 after the latest coronavirus update from Lyon County Public Health.
The death toll increased by three people from Tuesday, with an increase of two deaths in the long-term care cluster category. The other death was not assigned to either of the other two listed clusters, private industry or bars and restaurants.
There are also still 10 deaths not yet categorized by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, including eight in the long-term care category.
Overall, the active caseload remained stable at 84 with eight new cases and eight recoveries. The number of total cases since March is 836, with recoveries now at 734.
For clusters:
*Bars and restaurants have one cluster with five cases, all of which are active
*Long-term care has one cluster with 148 total cases and 27 active cases along with 10 deaths
*Private industry has one cluster with 153 total cases, six active cases and one death
