Three people have been arrested in what the Kansas Bureau of Investigation calls the homicide of a Greenwood County man earlier this month.
On Wednesday, the KBI announced the arrest of 30-year-old Noah JE Farr of Dighton, a 17-year-old male from El Dorado and 25-year-old Joseph E Warden of El Dorado. All three have been charged with felony murder, aggravated burglary, felony theft and conspiracy to commit felony theft.
The arrests Tuesday follow the death of Eureka resident Danny Shue, 78, at 1607 Quincy in Eureka on Aug. 18. At the time, the KBI said Shue’s death was suspicious but did not specify why. The KBI has not yet given further details about the case itself.
Farr was arrested at the Lane County Sheriff’s Office and booked in the Finney County Jail. Warden was arrested at the El Dorado Police Department and booked in the Greenwood County Jail. The juvenile was also arrested at the El Dorado Police Department and transported to an unspecified juvenile facility.
The current expectation is the Greenwood County Attorney’s Office will prosecute the case.
The investigation continues. People with information about the case are encouraged to call the KBI at 800-KS-CRIME or the Greenwood County Sheriff’s Office at 620-583-5568.
