The Emporia Public Library will be closed Friday.
Director Robin Newell says there will be a maintenance project on the air conditioning unit. If the air conditioning is working this upcoming weekend, the library will be open for pickup both Saturday and Sunday.
Newell asks patrons to all 340-6462 or check the library’s social media accounts to make sure it’s open before coming to the library this weekend.
