Greenwood County Sheriff’s Deputies and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation have arrested another suspect in connection to a recent homicide of Greenwood County man earlier this month.
Friday afternoon, the KBI announced 34-year-old Leon A. Lindsay of El Dorado was apprehended Thursday at the Butler County Sheriff’s Office around 9:45 am. Lindsay is currently being held at the Butler County jail on charges of felony murder, aggravated burglary, felony theft, and conspiracy to commit felony theft.
This is the fourth arrest in a case that developed after the death of Eureka resident Danny Shue, 78, at 1607 Quincy on Aug. 18. On Wednesday, the KBI announced the arrests of 30-year-old Noah JE Farr of Dighton, a 17-year-old male from El Dorado and 25-year-old Joseph E Warden of El Dorado. All three have been charged with felony murder, aggravated burglary, felony theft and conspiracy to commit felony theft.
Additional details on the case have yet to be released. The current expectation is the Greenwood County Attorney’s Office will prosecute the case.
