Monday is the latest vehicle tag deadline for the Lyon County Motor Vehicle Office.
Drivers with last names beginning in the letters “M,” “N” or “O” need to renew Monday or incur penalties. Monday is also the deadline for anybody who bought a vehicle this past January and has not registered it yet to do so.
Office hours are 8 am to 4:30 pm.
County Treasurer Sharon Gaede reminds residents they can use the QLess system to essentially hold their place in line as they take care of other business. Residents can text Lyon County Motor Vehicle to 620-254-9998, download the QLess app or go to www.lyoncounty.org and find QLess on the home page.
