The Emporia High volleyball team will be opening their season with a duel against Topeka High Tuesday evening.
Emporia High Coach Ashley Nehls says they are excited to get the season started.
Macy Adams says they are ready to play someone new.
The Lady Spartans were also scheduled to play Highland Park, who has had to postpone due to coronavirus.
The match will be played at Emporia High School beginning at 5pm.
