Two Emporians crashed between Americus and Bushong early Tuesday and were hospitalized as a result.
Lyon County Deputy Justin Carr says the wreck in the 2800 block of Road F, four miles north of Americus and six miles south of Bushong, was reported just after 2 am and involved an SUV. The driver, 32-year-old Daniel Rhoads, was northbound when he lost control for currently unlisted reasons. The SUV went into a ditch and rolled.
An ambulance took Rhoads to Newman Regional Health for suspected minor injuries. A passenger, 26-year-old Nikolai Minshew, initially declined treatment but later went to Newman Regional Health by private vehicle.
Both men were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
