The Emporia High girls varsity tennis team opens their season Thursday. They will be hosting a 6 team tournament.
Coach Saul Trujillo does return some experience from last years team.
Senior Dayanna Magana will be playing number 1 singles for the Spartans.
Emporia High will face players from Topeka High, Shawnee Heights, Ottawa, Andover Central and Wichita Classical. Play begins at 3pm on the Emporia High Courts.
The Emporia High volleyball team travels to Junction City for matches against Junction City and Topeka West.
