Flint Hills Beef Fest has named its cattle contest winners.
For steers:
*Arndt Farms of Emporia won Best of Grass and Show. It also took the grass category with an average weight gain of 2.356 pounds per day.
*Parker Meats of LeRoy won the grandstand category
For heifers:
*Arndt Farms won Best of Grass and Show. It also won the grass category with an average weight gain of 2.471 pounds a day
*Wes Cahoone and Lee Glanville of Cottonwood Falls won the grandstand category
