The Emporia High girls tennis team finished in 2nd place at the Emporia High invitational Thursday.
Andover Central finished in 1st place. Topeka High finished 3rd, Wichita Classical 4th, Shawnee Heights 5th and Ottawa 6th.
Individually for Emporia High Dayanna Magana finished in 3rd place at number 1 singles.
Emily Leihsing finished in 5th place at number 2 singles.
The number 1 doubles team of Katelyn Velasquez and Alyssa Dix finished in 3rd place.
The number 2 doubles team of Beatrix Ibarra and Casey Lane finished in 8th place.
The next varsity tournament will be next Thursday at Spring Hill.
