Not surprisingly, several area counties reported COVID-19 increases from Friday to Monday.
*Chase County is at 81 cases, up from 76 last week. The county is confirming its first death due to the virus. It is also separating the community cases — 22 overall, no active and the one death — from the 59 total, five new and five active cases currently at the Detention Center.
*Morris County added two new cases and is now at 25. Both new cases are the only active cases for the county.
*Osage County went from 67 total cases late last week to 71 Monday. The number of active cases went from eight to nine.
Several counties have not issued updates as of 4 pm Monday.
*Coffey County is at 90 overall cases with 11 active cases and eight deaths.
*Greenwood County is at 44 cases, 16 of which are active.
*Wabaunsee County is at 57 total and nine active cases.
