It was a heartbreaking season opener for the Kansas State football team.
The Wildcats were out scored by Arkansas State 35-31 Saturday.
Arkansas State scored the winning touchdown with 38 seconds to play in the game.
Kansas State led 21-7 in 2nd quarter.
Arkansas State would score 21 unanswered points before the Wildcats retook the lead with a touchdown and fieldgoal in the 4th quarter.
Kansas State is off until September 26th when they open Big-12 play at Oklahoma.
