While Lyon County has dramatically expanded its mass gathering limits for indoor activities, one area county has gone the other way.
Effective Saturday, Morris County will go from a 100-person mass gathering limit to 25. This will be in place until further notice.
There will be exceptions allowed if people submit written health safety plans at least two weeks ahead of the planned event. Funerals are exempt from the two-week application deadline, and all previously-approved mass gathering applications — including those for USD 417 Morris County and Morris County Recreation — are exempt from the new mass gathering policy.
