The Emporia High boys soccer, volleyball and girls tennis teams are scheduled to compete Tuesday.
The Emporia High boys soccer team hosts Washburn Rural. Senior Joel Jimenez says they need to play well as a team.
Varsity kick-off is set 6:30p. The Spartans are 3-1-1, Washburn Rural is 4-1.
The Emporia High volleyball team goes to Junction City. They will also play Washburn Rural the number 1 ranked team in 6A. Senior Emily Christensen says they wont look past Junction City but are looking forward to playing Washburn Rural.
The Lady Spartans take a 8-5 record into the matches.
The Emporia High girls tennis team will be playing in the Washburn Rural Invitational. Natalie Duncan and Lillee Frank will make up one of the doubles teams.
Diana Magana and Emily Leihsing will play singles and Alyssa Dix and Kaitlyn Velasquez will make up the other doubles team.
