The Kansas Shrine Bowl has announced the Head Coaches for the 2021 game.
The Head Coach for the East squad will be a former Emporia State football player, Brian King. He is the Head Coach at DeSoto.
He was a running back at Emporia State from 2000-2004.
DeSoto was 10-1 last year and is 2-1 to start this season.
He also joins the list of those who played in the Shrine Bowl and coached in the game. He was a player in 2000.
The West head coach is Nortons Lucas Melvin.
The 2021 Shrine Bowl game is scheduled to be played June 26th in Hutchinson.
