A new equipment purchase for the Lyon County Jail highlighted a brief agenda for Lyon County Commissioners Thursday morning.
The commission approved the purchase of 30 new protective vests for jail staff at a total cost of $25,470. Additionally, commissioners also approved shipping costs for said vests at an additional cost of $600.
Both motions were approved 3-0.
Commission reports and three executive sessions garnered the commission’s attention for the remainder of the morning. No additional action was taken.
The Lyon County Commission will reconvene for its weekly action meeting next Thursday at 9 am inside the Lyon County Courthouse.
