Emporia State University had a small increase in new cases over the past week.
On its tracking dashboard Friday, ESU announced 10 active cases and 54 overall, up one new case from last week. There have been 713 tests since the fall semester began. ESU currently has no students in on-campus isolation and one in on-campus quarantine.
Emporia State is also reporting no new cases as part of its ongoing effort to find asymptomatic cases in large-group settings on campus for the second straight week.
Flint Hills Technical College, meanwhile, has three active cases and three people in quarantine. The college has not confirmed an overall case count this week.
