Flinthills Mall has an event for all you foodies — and, really, anybody who likes good food.
The mall has its first Food Truck Food-A-Palooza from 10 am to 2 pm Saturday. Mall manager Clarence Frye says there will be a heavy local presence.
Trucks will be parked near Industrial Road. Seven food trucks will participate, with at least five in a special contest competing for the judges’ choice onsite and people’s choice awards via Facebook. In the contest are Gustoso’s, Two Dudes Food, Jack’s Snack Shack, Lazy Butt BBQ and Mis Antojitos. Grab-n-Go Hot Dogs and Poppin For You Too will also be on hand.
Standard COVID-19 precautions, including mask use and social distancing, will be in play. Hand sanitizer will be available as well.
