A pretrial hearing is coming Tuesday for a man accused of taking food and tools from an Emporia restaurant.
Jacob Vaughan, 22, is accused of getting into Wendy’s, 1928 West Sixth, on July 16 and taking boxes or packages of ground beef, chicken breasts, buns and potatoes as well as miscellaneous tools. He’s charged with single counts of burglary of a non-dwelling and theft as well as two counts of criminal damage.
The pretrial hearing will be at 2 pm.
