Lyon County commissioners have several emergency management and law enforcement matters to attend to with their action meeting Thursday.
Commissioners will review and consider payments to the city of Emporia for the Emergency Communication Center’s part of the Spillman database system payment totaling around $22,000. Commissioners will also consider a $27,000 payment to Traffic Control Services for law enforcement vehicle parts. In addition, commissioners could sign a memorandum of understanding to accept a $24,000 grant from the Kansas Division of Emergency Management.
Off that topic, commissioners could approve funding for bus improvement projects through LCAT.
The meeting starts at 9 am at the County Courthouse.
