A Burlington woman was hurt after two vehicles collided in the town Tuesday afternoon.
The crash happened at US Highway 75 and Garretson Street around 5;15 pm. Highway Patrol troopers say a car driven by 57-year-old Charlotte Burrell was stopped at the intersection before turning left in front of a pickup driven by 29-year-old Adam Laflin of Gardner. Laflin unsuccessfully tried to avoid a wreck, with Burrell’s car hitting his truck.
Burrell was taken to Coffey County Hospital in Burlington with suspected minor injuries. Laflin was not hurt. Both were wearing seatbelts.
