St. Marks Lutheran Church is in the middle of their Congregation Challenge to benefit KVOE’s annual drive for food.
The Congregation Challenge challenges the Congregation of St. Marks to donate approximately 230 cans of food, and if the goal is met Pastor Kent Happel will shave his head.
Pastor Happel joined KVOE’s morning show to discuss what led him to the decision to shave his head for the challenge.
Pastor Happel says that 212 cans have already been donated. With nearly a week left the odds are in favor of the congregation.
