The Kansas State Wildcats out scored Texas Tech 31-21 Saturday to improve to 2-1 and 2-0 in the Big-12.
The Wildcats led 14-0 at halftime on a 12 yard touchdown pass to Briley Moore and a Deuce Vaughn 18 yard run. Vaughn finished the game with 194 yards of offense, 113 yard rushing.
Both teams lost their starting quarterbacks in the first half.
In the 3rd quarter Texas Tech scored twice and Kansas State added a 28 yard field goal from Blake Lynch.
Texas Tech would take a 21-17 lead before Henry Trotter scored on a 4 yard run to give the Wildcats the lead for good. Deuce Vaughn sealed the win with a 70 yard pass reception.
Kansas State plays at TCU next Saturday.
