Denny Hamlin was the winner of the NASCAR Cup series play-off race at Talladega Sunday at the end of a 3rd overtime.
Clint Bowyer finished 33rd after an accident on lap 108.
While attempting to push Jimmie Johnson‘s Chevrolet in the tri-oval, Clint Bowyer turned the No. 48 igniting an 11 car melee that eliminated Bowyer.
Bowyer is now in 11th place in the playoff standings and 38 points back of the cutoff.
NASCAR goes to the Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval for the final race of the Round of 12 next Sunday.
