Lyon County’s total COVID-19 caseload has now surpassed 1,100 according to Public Health’s daily update Tuesday.
Public Health reported eight new cases bringing the overall total to 1,106 cases since March. Six new recoveries were listed bringing the active caseload to 53.
The death toll rose by one to 36 plus four cases pending health certificate information from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.
The colleges and universities category remains the only active cluster category at this time. Currently, there is one active cluster with 62 total cases, three active and no deaths.
