Kansas State improved to 3-1 for the season and 3-0 in Big-12 play with a 21-14 win over TCU Saturday.
Blake Lynch kicked 2 field goals, of 25 and 53 yards and quarterback Will Howard scored on a 6 yard run to give Kansas State a 14-7 lead at halftime. Howard became the first freshman quarterback to win his first career start on the road.
A.J. Parker returned an interception for the only 2nd half Wildcat score.
Kansas State Coach Chris Klieman was especially pleased with the defensive effort.
Kansas State has a bye week next week. Their next game will be on October 24th at home against Kansas.
The Kansas Jayhawks have their bye week this week. .
Kansas State after their 21-14 win over TCU improved to 3-1 and break into the AP top 25 and are ranked 22nd.
The Wildcats are off this Saturday before hosting Kansas on October 24th.
Clemson is ranked number 1 followed by Alabama, Georgia, Notre Dame and North Carolina.
