Blustery conditions have led the National Weather Service has issued several wind advisories throughout the area.
An advisory is in effect for Lyon, Coffey and Osage counties from 1 am to 6 am Monday. Chase and Greenwood counties are in seperate advisories both from 11 pm to 6 am Monday while Morris and Wabaunsee counties are in an advisory from 11pm to 4 am Monday.
Wind gusts as high as 30 mph are expected and could blow around unsecured objects. Motorists are asked to exercise caution during this time, especially if they’re operating a high profile vehicle.
