Construction matters will be at the forefront of Wednesday night’s Board of Education meeting for USD 253 Emporia.
Board members will discuss hazardous materials abatement — specifically asbestos removal — at Walnut Elementary. They will also discuss construction materials testing services for the early childhood center project near Riverside School.
An evaluation of Superintendent Kevin Case will take place in executive session. An update on the district’s coronavirus response is not currently on the agenda.
The meeting starts at 7 pm at Mary Herbert and will be aired on the district’s website, www.usd253.org, and the district’s Facebook page.
