The Emporia High boys finished 3rd and the girls 4th at the Centennial League Cross Country meet Saturday.
The boys were led by Treyson True who finished in 3rd place. Jonathan Laudie finished in 6th place, Lane Wullschleger 21st, Caden Wilson 28th, Sam Gillen 33rd and Tanner McGuire 34th.
The girls were led by Micah Sheffy Harris who finished in 11th place. Taryn West finished in 15th place. Sofia Ruvalcaba 20th, Maryn True 23rd, Lily Heinen 24th, Avery Gutierrez 26th.
Manhattan won both the boys and girls championships.
Next Saturday Emporia High will be running in the Bishop Carroll hosted regional meet in Wichita.
