The Kansas Jayhawks jumped out to a 10-0 at West Virginia but would not hang on in a 38-17 loss to the Mountaineers Saturday.
A 41 yard field goal gave the Jayhawks a 3-0 lead.
Then quarterback Miles Kendrick connected with receiver Andrew Parchment on a 43-yard touchdown to give Kansas a 10-0 lead.
West Virginia would score 38 unanswered points before Pooka Williams Jr returned a kick-off 92 yard for a touchdown.
The Jayhawks fall to 0-4 for the season and 0-3 in the Big-12. They will play Kansas State in Manhattan next Saturday with kick-off at 11am.
