The Osage County Health Department is adding an exemption to the county’s coronavirus quarantine process.
People determined as close contacts of confirmed patients may be exempted from quarantine if both the positive patient and close contact were wearing masks at the time of the exposure. The Health Department says none of the close-contact quarantined people, with the exception of household contacts, have contracted COVID-19.
There are exceptions to this new rule, including household contacts and cases of “especially high risk.”
