An El Dorado man has been arrested after allegedly taking a powered saw from a west Emporia business.
James Squier, 41, was arrested recently on suspicion of theft. Squier allegedly went to Bluestem Farm and Ranch on Oct. 13 and stole a Stihl brand saw in broad daylight.
Formal charges are pending. Lyon County Crime Stoppers offered a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction in this case.
