A Butler County woman was hurt after a crash outside Olpe on Tuesday morning.
Lyon County Deputy Justin Carr says the crash happened at the junction of Kansas Highway 99 and Road 75 just after 7:40 am. Olpe resident Cooper Glenn, 17, was westbound on Road 75 and failed to yield at the highway. A northbound car driven by 62-year-old Kristin Olson of Rosalia then hit Glenn’s SUV.
Olson suffered possible minor injuries and went by ambulance to Newman Regional Health. Glenn declined medical treatment. Both were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
