The USD 253 Emporia Board of Education is getting ready for a special meeting Wednesday night.
Board members will meet with representatives of Charlesworth Consulting to determine the best way to handle a 31-percent spike in health insurance costs. The district’s COVID-19 Advisory Committee will also provide an update on data and trends. One executive session is also planned on personnel matters.
The meeting is at 7 pm at Mary Herbert and will be available for public viewing on the district’s website, www.usd253.org.
