Emporia city commissioners will have a brief, yet important agenda for their upcoming study session Wednesday.
Among the items up for discussion will be the potential approval for Dynamic Discs to purchase the Detroit Reman property at 840 Overlander once the business ceases operations. The property is quadruple the size of Dynamic Discs current distribution space located at 3601 West Sixth.
The Regional Development Association of East Central Kansas has recommended the city approve the purchase of the facility.
Additionally, discussions will also take place regarding the city’s health insurance coverage and the rescheduling of study meetings in November.
The meeting begins at 10 am inside the Municipal Courtroom at White Auditorium.
