New charges have been added against three people accused of breaking into an Emporia house, threatening two people inside and damaging several items before being arrested.
Both before and during preliminary hearings Thursday in Lyon County District Court, 22-year-old Samantha Goza, 20-year-old Lane Rogers and 19-year-old Dakota Wilson all had new cases added.
*Samantha Goza, age 22, was originally charged with two counts each of aggravated kidnapping and aggravated assault along with single counts of aggravated burglary and battery. New charges include conspiracy to commit aggravated burglary, aggravated assault, aggravated robbery and two counts of criminal threat.
*Lane Rogers, age 20, faced two counts of aggravated kidnapping and one of aggravated battery. He now faces new counts — one each — of conspiracy to commit aggravated burglary and misdemeanor criminal damage.
*Dakota Wilson, age 19, originally faced two counts of aggravated kidnapping and single counts of aggravated burglary, aggravated battery and criminal damage. The damage count was dropped, but two counts of criminal threat and single counts of conspiracy to commit aggravated burglary and aggravated assault were added.
Pretrial hearings, where trial dates may be set, are set for Nov. 20.
