The Kansas Jayhawks were out scored by Iowa State 55-22 Saturday.
Iowa State built a 13-0 lead in the first quarter and the Jayhawks could never catch up.
Kansas true freshman running back Daniel Hishaw Jr., scored his first-career touchdown when he scampered in from five yards out in the 2nd quarter.
Sophomore safety Kenny Logan Jr., provided the play of the game in the third quarter when he returned a kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown.
Freshman quarterback Jalon Daniels closed out the scoring for KU when he scored on a 12 yard run in the 4th quarter.
The Jayhawks fall to 0-6 overall and 0-5 in the Big-12. They play at Oklahoma next Saturday.
