Kansas City Royals Catcher Salvador Perez was awarded his 3rd Silver Slugger Award Thursday night.
Perez set career highs in batting average .333 and slugging percentage .633 in 2020, and despite playing in just 37 of 60 games, led the Royals in homers with 11 and go-ahead RBI with 8, while ranking second in RBI with 32 and extra-base hits with 23.
Perez joins George Brett as the only Royals to win 3 Silver Slugger awards.
