It was a heartbreaking loss for Kansas State Saturday. Oklahoma State slipped past the Wildcats 20-18.
Kansas State Coach Chris Klieman said the effort was there.
Kansas State had a 12-0 lead at halftime thanks to 2 Blake Lynch Field goals and a touchdown pass from Will Howard to Brooks Phillip.
Oklahoma State scored 13 points in the 3rd quarter to take a 13-12 lead into the final 15 minutes.
The deciding play was an 85 yard fumble return for a touchdown by Oklahoma State.
Kansas State did cut the deficit to 2 points when Will Howard scored a touchdown.
2 missed two point conversions were also part of the difference.
Kansas State is now 4-3 for the season and 4-2 in the Big-12.
They have a bye next week before playing at Iowa State on November 21st.
