The coronavirus cluster at Emporia’s Presbyterian Manor is adding patients.
Two direct-care employees and an independent-living resident were confirmed with the virus, with the resident confirmed Friday and the workers confirmed over the weekend. The resident is hospitalized. There is no word on where the employees are receiving care.
Presbyterian Manor already had five staffers test positive for COVID-19 over the past two weeks. The number of active staff cases is to be determined.
Presbyterian Manor has been testing residents weekly and staffers twice a week. Contact tracing will begin soon to determine whether there has been any further spread.
