Thunderstorms are possible early Tuesday morning, and there is an outside risk of severe weather.
The Storm Prediction Center says the KVOE listening area and much of Kansas has a marginal risk of severe weather after midnight. Hail and high winds are the concerns. There will be deep shear, where winds change direction with height, and increasing moisture but instability will be modest at best.
Rain wil likely start before midnight and could last until shortly after sunrise. Sharply cooler conditions are expected Tuesday with highs below 50 degrees.
