A great selection of memorabilia, packages and delectable treats are all up for bid through Emporia Main Street.
The annual Main Street Improvement Auction got underway last weekend and continues through the end of the workweek. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the auction is taking place virtually this year.
According to Main Street Director Casey Woods, all proceeds from this year’s auction will be put towards Main Street services to assist local businesses through the hardships brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Woods says this year’s auction items were somewhat limited in comparison to year’s past due to the pandemic, however, there is still a wonderful selection of items for individuals to bid on.
The auction will conclude at 8 pm Friday evening. To bid on items residents need to register online by going to Emporiamainstreet.com.
