Kansas State opened the basketball season Wednesday afternoon with a 80-70 loss to Drake as part of the Little Apple Classic.
Kansas State Coach Bruce Weber said they had to many turnovers.
Kansas States biggest lead was by 7 points 47-40 with 15 minutes to play in the 2nd half.
Mike McGuirl led the Wildcats scoring a game high 22 points.
The Wildcats will play Colorado Friday night.
