The latest vehicle tag deadline is coming early next week.
Lyon County Treasurer Sharon Gaede says the deadline is Monday for people with last names beginning in the letters T, V or W. Residents need to have current proof of insurance and a valid Kansas ID to complete the process.
Motor Vehicle office hours inside the Lyon County Courthouse are 8 am to 4:30 pm. Residents are reminded to use the QLess system so they don’t have to spend time waiting in line. Residents can text Lyon County Motor Vehicle to 620-254-9998, download the QLess app or go online to www.lyoncounty.org.
