Black Friday is kicking off a holiday shopping season unlike any other in recent memory.
At AKA The Sports Fan, manager Tammy Adkins says people aren’t gravitating to just one or two things. She says the store is doing its part for shoppers with extra sanitizing and curbside service.
Bluestem Farm and Ranch manager Jane Johnson says her store has taken several precautions, including extra cleaning and new plexiglass guards at cash registers. She expects a wide range of big sellers this season.
Brown’s Shoe Fit manager Aaron Otto says they are extending their sale hours through next week to make sure they are offering the best deals while keeping their customers social distanced and safe.
Even with the pandemic, Flinthills Mall manager Clarence Frye says he feels good about the upcoming shopping season.
Many local retailers are either carrying over some Black Friday deals into Small Business Saturday or have set up different deals for the two days.
