It was a heartbreaking finish for Kansas State at Baylor Saturday night. Baylor kicked a 30 yard field goal as time expired for a 32-31 win over the Wildcats.
Kansas State Coach Chris Klieman said they failed to make the winning plays at the end of the game.
Kansas State led for most of the game. They took the lead on a 75 yard touchdown run by Malik Knowles in the 1st quarter. They added an 8 yard touchdown pass from Will Howard to Deuce Vaughn. Blake Lynch kicked a 20 yard fieldgoal to give the Wildcats a 17-6 lead at halftime. In the 4th quarter Will Howard added a 24 yard touchdown run and Deuce Vaughn scored on a 38 yard touchdown run. Baylor scored 17 fourth quarter points to rally for the win. The Wildcats fall to 4-4 in the Big-12 and 4-5 for the season. They are scheduled to host Texas next Saturday.
